The new San Jose-Caldera highway, currently under construction and anticipated for completion before the end of this year, will link San Jose and the Pacific Beach area. This new highway will cut the current multi-hour trip down to about one hour, placing the breathtaking Pacific Ocean area within commuting distance to the capital city of San Jose. Just south of the highway / ocean connection are the resort towns of Jaco, Quepos and Manuel Antonio; where the delegates will tour to explore opportunities with anticipation of significant growth.
-
“After years of delay the new highway from San Jose to the beach was finally started on January 9, 2008. This is a huge development since it will cut driving time to the beach in half. As everyone knows, access leads to growth and increase in property values. This is sure to raise the property values in the Central Pacific”. (Tico Times, San José, Costa Rica,)
